Our Philosophy
At Christie Cali Dance Connection, we foster a fun and safe environment for students to discover their creativity through movement. We share our passion for performance with our students and structure our classes around our core values of positivity, hard work, and love of dance.
Meet Owner & Founder, Christie Cali
Christie founded Christie Cali Dance Connection in 2018, bringing to life her dream of opening her own dance studio. With over 10 years of teaching experience as well as a degree in dance from Wheaton College, she continues to find joy in helping her students grow into strong and happy dancers. Christie works with students of all ages, specializing in tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop and directs the performance company at CCDC. She loves sharing her passion for dance with her students, promoting confidence, commitment, and self-expression inside and outside her studio.
Meet Jeanne Peihl
Jeanne Peihl is dedicated to fostering a love of music and movement in dancers of all ages. She studied at Riverside Ballet Arts and has focused exclusively on classical ballet training for the last 20 years. Jeanne is certified to teach Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), a revolutionary program that trains dancers through muscle memory to improve posture, alignment, and flexibility. In 2013, she founded Salish Sea Ballet, a pre-professional ballet school and youth ballet company in Washington state. There, Jeanne worked as director and principal ballet instructor for eight years before returning home to Massachusetts. She is thrilled to bring her passion and expertise to CCDC and honored to work with dancers and their families to achieve the benefits of classical ballet: strength, artistry, commitment, discipline, mentoring others, goal-setting, and teamwork.
Meet Andrea Lundquist
Andrea starting dancing when she was 5 years old and has loved it ever since. She started helping in dance class at a young age and then moved on to being a demonstrator at her childhood studio. Andrea went to Rhode Island College where she was a member of the Rhode Island College Dance Company and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance. Since then, Andrea has continued to share her love of dance by teaching students of all ages in all different styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and modern. She hopes to teach her students at CCDC how to have fun and enjoy dance while still learning something new every day.
